Thanksgivng

We had such a nice time last night at our Thanksgiving. Twenty people arrived at 4:00, starting with apple juice and Gretchen S.'s great little rolled up appetizers in our new back yard. Then everyone but me walked or drove down to Philip and Abby's new place and enjoyed baked Brie topped with a tasty dried fruit mixture, on toast, plus tours of their apartment. Phil had a nice fire burning in their brasier outside. Anni, Jessica and Melissa put together the bouquets outside when they arrived.

It's probably been 25 years since Anni and I celebrated Thanksgiving together! Rudi was in Russia, so they were available to join us.

I'm having trouble getting the text to be in the right place, but I think you can figure out what you're looking at!

There's much to be thankful for! I hope you and yours had a pleasant day yesterday, and now... it's on to Christmas! :-)

Robin, my mom said you did such a good job, and were so relaxed when they came in early. You create such a warm atmosphere - wish I was there.
