Last weekend we had Anders all day Friday, then overnight until around noon on Saturday. He was fun, brilliant, really, and cooperative! It was so nice! We took a few pictures...
I'm feelin' good because my last day of work for the school year was yesterday! I now have 6 weeks to do other things. I think I'll probably end up spending quite a bit of time working on Erin's website because we're kind of planning to start on a grander scale, but first we have to see if we can really get a year's worth of content virtually planned and even finished. Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on an article on how to do a cooking day (making 12-14 dinners), with recipes, directions and a grocery list. When we go camping in Yosemite next week I'm going to be cooking and photographing recipes for a camp cooking article, which is so fun! Won't that be great to have Half Dome or a waterfall in the background of the pictures? In the next few weeks I want to map out all the recipes for the year, then start making them, taking pictures and putting together the pages. It's a big job, but creative and rewarding. Would you like to help? If you ever feel like trying a recipe and then taking a bunch of creative pictures of it, let me know! Maybe I'll even post a list of possible recipes and if one catches your eye you can let me know. You could be part of encouraging grateful people who are helped and inspired by the site. And they love having pictures of the food!
Have a good week! It's summer!

The pictures of Anders are So cute! It looks like all of you had fun! Hope you have a blast in Yosemite.
Love, GS
I would be happy to cook and photograph some of the dishes. There are quite a few things that I make and think, hmm... Erin could eat this! I will try to remember next time to take a picture and send the recipe. Anyway, send me some options, and I'll do it!
Thanks Ariana for volunteering! I appreciate you taking on the cookies and the dip and I'm really interested to see how they work out!
