Grandbabies!

Grandbabies are so wonderful! I have five! They're a perfect mix of both mom and dad, with little signs of grandparents thrown in, for spice! Sam is such a thinker, just like... everyone, and so good on the computer! He loves to play games. (Photo courtesy of Aunt Erin.) Madeline and Abigail seem to have inherited a desire to hang spoons from their noses... just one of their many, many talents! Today I was talking to Erin and saying how much little baby Garrett looks just like her in the picture that hangs above my desk (see littlest girl in the family picture, above, and her baby's picture stuck in the frame). I decided to just snap a picture, download it and email it to her while we talked so she could see what I was talking about. Don't you think Garrett's face and expression look like her at about 3 years old? Then Gretchen came over for a nice little Friday visit. I had fun trying to get a picture of Anders with me on the stairs. Anders looks a lot like Chris, but I also see Chris's dad's smile and David's perfect ears! Both sides have red hair, but David's grandpa used to be called "Red," so what does that tell ya'? And as you can see in the family picture above, David's hair was pretty red as well. The generations march on. Joy!!
