Gretchen and Chris got away last weekend and we got to spend the weekend with Anders! He did so well and we had a very nice time with him! He's very interested in things and is fun to talk to. Saturday was the Whittier Christmas Parade, which was a perfect outing to get things started.
We just walked down to Greenleaf Ave. and watched the various groups getting ready to start off in the parade, which officially began when they crossed Hadley. This was the perfect way to see it.
After the parade we went to Home Depot and got a perfect tree! Anders helped.
Parade going and tree shopping are hungry work, so we stopped at Del Taco for tacos and a burrito.
Anders was pretty eager to get the tree set up so we could get to the train. I wanted to decorate the tree first, though, before they did the train, so Grandpa took him to the golf course for a little putting, then they came back and set up the train.
It works! Now we're ready for Christmas! Add Garrett and Wyatt to the mix in a couple of days and things will be rockin' around here! Can't wait.
Merry Christmas, everyone.

I love the thought of those three little boys all together at your house enjoying the train!
Mom, you and dad are the best! Anders had a blast. =0)
