Denver in October...

We arrived at just the right time to see all the trees turn beautiful colors! Erin and Jim were very generous with their time on the weekend and drove us up to Estes Park to see the colors, but this is a picture on their street, so you can see that it was really pretty everywhere!

We did nice everyday things, like shopping and watching various things on Netflix. It was just a fine time, hanging out! David brought some golf clubs along, so he was able to golf at the local course which had golf for $1 a hole after 1:00 p.m. He really had fun!

Isn't this just the perfect moment! Wyatt is such a cutie. He seems to be artistic and likes music. Each boy is an interesting individual... I love seeing each of them in action.

This was at the local library, which has a very nice children's room. There's lots to do there!

This sign, reserving a parking place is a mystery, right?
This is how Erin and Jim greeted us when we arrived...
No! That's not it.
It almost looks like a headstone!
No! That's not it.
Actually, it's in the parking lot of a retirement home! David wanted to look into all the details at a place in Colorado, so now we've done that... and I don't think we'll be moving there any time soon! But I will say, it was nice, but it's more of a place where people my parents age would be interested in living, not us! Yikes. Besides... I'm four years too young. :-)

The river runs through the town in Estes Park and the weather was perfect!

It's so wonderful to have Grandparent time with our little sweethearts.

Here are a couple of happy guys... It was a great trip and we're so glad that we can visit our kids as often as we do! Texas next, in March!

What a great trip. Wyatt is getting so big. Isn't modern transport wonderful. I feel like I really get to see my kids too.

I can really see you in Wyatt's face as he smiles with the pumpkins!
