A stop at the church was fun because we got to see Heidi sitting at her desk in the office she shares with Lisa, the lady in charge of the children's ministry. Next, we just had to stop at a swanky candy store, to get everyone a little something, then we made a beeline for the bookstore, where Madeline spent birthday money on the book she'd been dying to get, which was released on her birthday. Last, a trip to the bowling alley where Madeline read, and Abby and Sam, Grandpa and William all bowled. It was fun! That evening we went over to Erin and Jim's to attend the small group Bible study that meets at their house every other Saturday night. Sunday, we went to church with the DeHarts, then had the fun of meeting their friends, the Peterson's, who came over after church for a big pizza lunch. I got to read the whole 94 page 101 Dalmatians to Sam and I read Taren Wanderer till I was hoarse to Abigail, so that was lovely.
