A Nice Surprise Last Night

Ever since David heard about this new Mexican restaurant in town, ("Enchiladas") he's been wanting us to go there. Last Thursday, when he first learned about it, he was told that it's the best Mexican food anywhere! Especially their special white cheese sauce. On Friday, at the men's steak fry, he got talking to some of the other guys, telling them all about it. He told how to get there and exactly where it is and that we were hoping to go soon. We tried to go there last Sunday with Kirk and Gretchen but it was closed, so last night we tried again and went in! It's very colorful and artistic. We were shown to a table near the back and decided to sit next to each other, but when we started to sit down we realized the sun was glaring in the window a little too much so we sat facing the back of the restaurant. David normally likes to see if there's anyone there that he knows, but we were too busy looking at the decor, etc. and just enjoyed getting settled. The food was very good (maybe a little pricey) and we enjoyed everything. At the end, the owner came up and said, "Are you David Cox and have you been telling lots of people about this place?" Yes... and David starting talking about the steak fry. But... Hey! HOW did you know anything about us?? That was MY question! My curiosity was piqued! Well, he said there was a couple sitting a couple of tables behind us who were there because David had told them about it. They really enjoyed it and wanted to pay for our meal!! He said that when the people were getting up to leave I happened to turn around and they bobbed behind someone so we wouldn't see them! Isn't that fun? It's driving me a little crazy, but mostly it's fun to think about. Thank you, whoever you are!!
